The Samsung Tab S6 is a wonderful 2 in 1 that will give you confidence in using this 10.5-inch tablet as a laptop replacement. Apple has owned the tablet market since the first iPad appeared in 2010 and Samsung isn’t going out without a fight with there professional-grade tablet. The tablet can mostly fit in any bad due to its small size so you can use this tablet virtually anywhere and for how small it is it gets the job done. The bezels are the perfect size to protect the touch display from accidental touches if you need to grab it by the corners with your fingers.

The body has been changed from glass to aluminum to strengthen the frame. Dropping it won’t guarantee a broken device now so you won’t have to be worried like other fragile tablets. The S Pen is located on the backside of the tablet and it’s kept into place with strong magnets. It’s not only to store your pen but it is a charging pad for your pen since it is Bluetooth capable now. A complaint I have is with security. The fingerprint sensor isn’t equipped with ultrasonic technology but has optical making it less reliable and not as secure. The face unlock feature works ok, but it would have been nice if it would be more accurate in low light.

The keyboard is amazing and it’s better to go through Samsung and purchase it as a bundle because you will almost save half off with the total doing it this way because the keyboard alone is a whopping $180. If they would have made the keys slightly wider and incorporated backlit keys this keyboard would have been perfect with this wide device. It has a built-in trackpad to help navigate throughout the software if you prefer not to use the touch screen input. This is great for lazy days and you prefer not to reach to navigate.

While there’s an S pen included with this device I really never use this unless I’m going to use this as a remote for taking a picture. The palm rejection technology isn’t perfected yet so you have to be careful with hand placement when using the S Pen. The screen is a beautiful 2,560 x 1,600p and a Super AMOLED screen making it great viewing even on the brightest days outside. The colors are beautiful and it is HDR+ supported so expect that pop in color. The power plant is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and you have the choice out of 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage or 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage.

The Dualcamera system doesn’t disappoint with its 8-megapixel sensor. The quality is pretty good in good light but tends to be quite a bit grainy in dark light. It’s a 1080p camera so it’s nice having a slightly higher resolution than a 720p resolution camera. The rear camera is a 13-megapixel camera and the picture quality is slightly saturated, but the picture quality is still above average. The rear setup also adds an ultra-wide-angle 5-megapixel camera to give you a selection of shot views.
