Gaming Headset -Corsair VOID PRO RGB SE Wireless-

It’s been six months since I picked up my Corsair Void PRO RGB Wireless SE Gaming headset and I had many options to choose from since the PC accessory market has reached saturation at this point, with the gaming headset market one of the most crowded. What makes this stand out compared to others is it’s sound quality and design. In the box you will receive the headset, wireless adapter, and a USB cable for charging, the package also includes a dock for the adapter which can be used as a phone stand, instructions and a foam windscreen for the mic. The VOID PRO RGB Wireless SE is offered with a yellow and black color scheme, though a non-SE version is available that has a black/white finish if you don’t care for the loud yellow, but I love it and constantly get compliments. The only complaint that I have had this 6 months functionality wise is it can be frustrating having the headphones connect to the wireless adapter at times which would cause me to cycle powering the headset on and off. It’s a minor problem as it does this randomly though and I don’t see it as a deal breaker when considered buying it. Unlike the majority of the headphones in the market have round headsets this one is design more in the shape of your ears and kiss your ears with memory foam which keeps things comfortable for hours. The RGB lighting is beautiful and bright. The color as well as pattern can be controlled through the Corsair iCUE software that you will need to have installed on your PC to be able to customize your experience to your liking. Not only can you adjust the RGB lighting color and pattern you will be able to custom tailor the whole experience to your liking. You are aloud to have 5 presets so that you are able to easily switch between them by pushing in the volume wheel on the left side of the headset. There are also a physical power and mute button on the same side as well. You can switch between stereo and dolby 7.1 surround sound. The sound is amazing and clear. It could use slightly more bass for people looking for a little boom boom, but to me the sound is rich and clear and that’s what’s most important. Playing games like Forza, nba 2k20, Battlefield and call of duty makes me feel immersed in the gameplay like no other. When playing battlefield and call of duty It does an outstanding job making believe that there are multiple speakers around me and directional sound is more convincing that you might suspect considering just two drivers in total are being used. The microphone is bendable and holds its shape very well once you adjust it for your liking. The mic is a unidirectional noise-cancelling design, and in my testing the reduction in background noise is very impressive. The mic size wise is a little thicker and stronger than most of the gaming headsets that I have tested previously. The battery life is claimed to last 16 hours and if the battery so happens to be low you can charge by usb while gaming. Overall I was very impressed with this headset. It offered excellent sound quality and customization options to tailor to any individual. It also looks cool and is very comfortable to wear. After spending countless hours gaming with these and 6 months later they still operate and look like they did the day I first purchased them If you’re like me and have other Corsair products i would highly recommend the Void pro RGB.
